So, it's been forever since I posted a Monday 5, and for the return, I thought that I would give you a glimpse of all things spooky...and cute for the holiday.
1. Cute astronaut costume from Pottery Barn Kids. When the little man told me he wanted to be an astronaut, I was thrilled because it meant I could order him one of these cute costumes from PBKids. My only regret is that I didn't wait...'cause it's on sale now for $29.99.
I love the rocket ship trick or treat bag too! That one I did wait on, and now it's sold out. Just my luck!
2. In the past, I haven't been into Halloween decorations. I mean, a pumpkin was all you needed, right? But this year the kids wanted to decorate for Halloween. I caved, uh, enthusiastically agreed , went shopping for decorations. I picked up this guy at Target, and immediately he became affectionately known as "Mr. Bones".
3. After hopping around blogland awhile, I found lots of ravens. After working on the river for several years, I really don't find ravens very spooky. Annoyingly intelligent, yes, spooky, no. So I did a little happy dance when I found this vulture at World Market. Vultures are spooky...when you see one it means they are after something dead and rotting...eeww!
4. In my aforementioned hop around blogland, I found Jessica's blog. She is an amazingly talented and generous crafter. She made this great FREE printable that I downloaded and framed. Head over to her blog to download the full resolution copy. While you are there, take some time to check out her other great projects, you will be glad you did.
5. While we are on the subject of free printables, Libby over at The Bonjours has another great FREE printable. Head on over to check it out.
That's it for now. Look pics of my spooky entryway later this week.
