Wow! I almost forgot to post my Monday five...I have been busy wasting time researching decor ideas for my living room on the internet, so I thought I would share some of my latest obsessions:
1. So, after looking at my artwork, I noticed a lot of blue and orange. I thought to myself "Self, you love blue and orange, why not play them up in your living room?" Enter the Pauline sofa from
Z Gallerie. Mr. Incredible would freak if I actually bought it...but I love the lines, and think it would look great in my room.
2. So, if we throw out the blue sofa (slight whimpering sound) I would probably go for this lovely Martin sofa from Room & Board.
Although, I think it needs some spice. Luckily, you can customize the upholstery. I would choose this lovely tangerine velvet:
3. Perhaps I might toss these velvet butterfly pillows from Grandin Road on the sofa. Think contrast.
4. Of course I would need a lamp for my lovely room, and try as I might, I couln't find a blue lamp to suit my fancy. However, Overstock came to the rescue with this lovely Ochre table lamp:
5. Now, I need a great chair for the space, so I thought that here is where I sneak in some blue. Alas, the chair I love does not come in blue. However, I am going to show it to you anyway, because it is a seriously great chair at a fabulous price. It's the Manchester Club chair at overstock, and it's only $305.99! What a deal for those lines...swoon.
Ok, so back to Room & Board I go, for the lovely Cole chair, and this time, the fabric I want is in stock.
Now, if only I could have the Manchester chair in the valor jade velvet fabric....
